"My son took piano lessons with Genevieve throughout most of elementary school. I strongly recommend Genevieve as a music instructor because of her patience, her knowledge of music, and her ability to tailor her lessons to the student's learning style and musical interests. The lessons moved along at a good pace, and the assigned practice schedule was a reasonable one. Genevieve is very personable and knew how to keep my son focused on the material, even though he is a chatterbox and enjoyed talking to her about all things art!
One of my and my son's favorite aspects of her teaching style is how she pays attention to what type of playing style the student has and provides gentle guidance to improve technique while also choosing pieces that the student is interested in learning. Genevieve worked with my son on positioning of his hands and posture, and chose pieces that highlighted his natural inclination toward jazzy/bluesy piano and current pop hits. One of his favorite memories was learning a popular Katy Perry song that he later performed in a school talent show. The discipline, hard work, and courage required to learn how to play an instrument and be a part of a recital are all valuable qualities that my son got from his piano lessons with Genevieve. I highly recommend her as a fun and knowledgeable piano teacher!"

What's amazing about Genevieve is that her approach in polishing her students is through treating them like her own kids or as little brothers/sisters under her wings. Sweet yet firm.
